  3. 24 ways: There’s No Formula for Great Designs

    Like many of you, I have been following the 24 ways articles throughout December, and as always, the standard has been both high and consistent. With only one day to go, one article in particular has really stood out to me and was published on the stroke of midnight:

    What really stood out to me about this article is the fact that it addresses the only thing that bugs me about responsive web design—the fact that a fluid grid and a couple of media queries isn’t always enough.

  5. Getting started with GIT

    Graham Smith has published an article which serves as a great primer for those (like myself) looking to get started with GIT. If you’ve toyed with the idea of using GIT or are new to version control I highly recommend this article as a good starting point.

  6. Improve WordPress search

    As powerful and flexible as WordPress is it has always fallen short on its search facility. Of course the WordPress function does return correct results however it displays results chronologically as opposed to relevance. Relevanssi is a plug-in that makes WordPress display search results in order of relevance which is quite frankly a big improvement.

  7. Elsewhere: The problem with free fonts
