Street tribute to Steve Jobs
This morning my wife and I took a stroll down Regents Street, London—home to the UK flagship Apple Store. Whilst passing we couldn’t help but notice the tributes people had been leaving outside the store itself.

My love affair with Brighton
I love Brighton. To anyone who knows me that’s no surprise. I first visited there in 2007 when the band I was in played there. Unfortunately we didn’t stay very long. We had a walk through the lanes and along the seafront and was on our way home again that night. I knew I had to come back.

The importance of being small
As a freelancer I want to stay as small as I can from a business perspective. This might seem a funny thing to say but my goal in life isn’t to become a multi-millionaire. I learned a long time ago that there is a lot more to life than simply making money.

Does it really matter?
When designing for the web it is far too easy to get bogged down with all the little details. Of course the details are important but as long as something is built on solid foundations then the details should take care of themselves.

Don't wait for validation
If you have a book to write, write it. If you want to record an album, record it. No need to wait for someone in a cubicle halfway across the country to decide if you’re worthy.
Yet another great post by Seth Godin on why validation doesn’t matter nearly as much as we tend to think it does.
