  1. Version control for dummies (like me)

For a long time I have been interested in learning how version control (specifically SVN) works however being a freelancer I didn’t really see the need to complicate my work flow. That was until a month ago when I started full-time employment as a font-end developer and I had to use version control.

  2. What I want from version control

I’m sure most people reading this will be aware of version control. I’ve known of systems such as GIT and SVN for a few years but only in the past year or so have I tried to get my hands dirty. In the end I decided that as I tend to work on my own it was all a bit too complicated for a designery type like myself. To be honest it blows my mind that there isn’t something simpler out there (or maybe there is?).
